Whatever befalls you, Jesus doeth all things well

Here by faith in Him to dwell! For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well.

~~Fanny Crosby

This morning’s prayer and meditation for Sally’s healing comes from Take Heart, Oh God: Riches from the Greatest Christian Women Writers of All Time.
Unpredictable. Part of life’s delight—or dread—is never knowing what will occur, who we’ll meet, or what new doors will open or close. Many people fear the unknown because it takes the control out of their hands.
Fanny Crosby was wrongly blinded as an infant. Her tragedy could have made her bitter. Instead, she grew up to write thousands of hymns praising her Savior who “doeth all things well.” She had a confident loyalty to Jesus. She knew that all things work for the best when he is in charge.
Rest in your Savior’s loving arms. Whatever happens, be assured that Jesus will weave it together to fit into his design and purpose for your life or for others. Faith is maintaining confidence in his character, not in your circumstances.
Whatever befalls you, Jesus doeth all things well.
Prayer for Meditation
Jesus, I don’t know about tomorrow but I trust you will work everything together for good.
Scripture for Meditation
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28
Music for Meditation
