God’s fingerprints are everywhere in your life. That’s how much he cares.

Despite everything that had happened, God’s fingerprints were everywhere.

~~Karen Kingsbury

This morning’s prayer and meditation for Sally’s healing comes from Take Heart, Oh God: Riches from the Greatest Christian Women Writers of All Time.
Our fingerprints are unique to us. Like snowflakes, no two sets of fingerprints are the same. We can’t help but leave our fingerprints on everything we touch. The phone. The computer keyboard. Doorknobs. Papers. Books. We know our fingerprints are there, but we can’t see those little invisible ridges that unmistakably say, “I was here.”
God’s fingerprints are like that. Although he is always present, always aware of our circumstances, and always hearing our prayers, at times we wonder. When situations spin out of control or head into a tragic directions, we feel that God has left us.
At some point, we will look back at that time and, despite all that happened, recognize God’s fingerprints everywhere. A word of encouragement, a flash of insight, a situation cared for in a way we had not imagined.
God’s fingerprints are everywhere in your life. That’s how much he cares.
