He can and will use you for his purposes. You just need to let him.

How wonderful that we serve a God who formed us and therefore understands our frailty and susceptibility yet has grace-filled plans for us.
~~Patsy Clairmont

This morning’s prayer and meditation for Sally’s healing comes from Take Heart, Oh God: Riches from the Greatest Christian Women Writers of All Time.
How often do we go around disqualifying ourselves from God’s plans for our lives? We say to ourselves, “Now I messed up. No way God can use me now,” or, “I’ve sinned so badly, God is not going to want anything more to do with me.” We can accept that he’ll forgive us, but we cannot imagine that he can still use us for his purposes and glory.
That’s a lie, dear sister. Not only does he forgive—he knows our weaknesses and still has glorious, God-sized plans for our lives.
For your life.
Don’t let your past, not even your yesterday, dictate your future. Instead, let his past—his perfect atonement for your sins on the cross—decide who you are and what you will do. He died to deal with sin—every sin.
He can and will use you for his purposes. You just need to let him.
Prayer for Meditation
You know me and my faults. Thank you that you can still use me.
Scripture for Meditation
“But, Lord,” exclaimed Ananias, “I’ve heard many people talk about the terrible things this man has done to the believers in Jerusalem! And he is authorized by the leading priests to arrest everyone who calls upon your name.”
But the Lord said, “Go, for Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel.” Acts 9:13-15
